Odoo Community is free and covers most SME needs: accounting, inventory, sales, CRM, HR, manufacturing, eCommerce. Enterprise adds a handful of features — Studio (no-code customization), IoT integration, full helpdesk module, and a few advanced accounting features. For most businesses we've worked with, Community is sufficient. We'll map your requirements to the module list and tell you honestly which one fits before you make a decision.
Both are open-source ERPs. Odoo has a more polished UI, a larger app marketplace, and stronger eCommerce capabilities. ERPNext is built specifically for Indian SMEs — the GST and TDS implementation is more mature, and the Frappe framework has a shallower learning curve for customization. If you're a service business or manufacturer and cost is a factor, ERPNext is often the better fit. If you need eCommerce tightly integrated with your ERP, Odoo is typically stronger. We implement both — we'll give you an honest recommendation.

The difference is in setup — it requires correct fiscal position configuration and chart of accounts mapping. This is where most self-implemented Odoo setups go wrong, and where we spend careful time.
Yes. Odoo's Manufacturing module covers Bills of Materials, work orders, MRP, and product traceability for manufacturers. For service businesses, the Projects, Timesheets, and Helpdesk modules handle service delivery and billing.
