Turn Your Website Into an App Without the App Store

PWAs that install from the browser, work offline, and send push notifications — on iOS and Android. One codebase, no app store approval, no 30% platform cut. We build PWAs that score 100 on Lighthouse's PWA checklist.

📦 What We Build

PWA Capabilities That Actually Matter

Not just a manifest file and an icon — we build PWAs with real offline strategies, proper push notification pipelines, and the service worker configuration that survives real-world usage.

📴

Offline-First Architecture

Service workers with a proper caching strategy — stale-while-revalidate for dynamic content, cache-first for assets, network-first for user data. Your app works on a train with no signal, not just with good WiFi.

📲

App Install Prompt

Custom install prompt that appears at the right moment in the user journey, not on first page load. Web App Manifest configured with the correct icons, display mode, and theme colour for both iOS and Android.

🔔

Push Notifications

Web Push API with VAPID keys, push service setup, and notification permission flow that users actually accept. Triggered from your backend via web-push library — not locked to a third-party push service.

⚙️

Service Worker Implementation

Workbox for service worker authoring — no custom service worker spaghetti that breaks on first update. Background sync, push handling, and offline fallback pages all configured correctly.

🔄

Background Sync

Form submissions, cart updates, and API calls queued while offline and replayed automatically when connectivity returns. Users can complete actions without knowing they were offline.

📱

App-Like Navigation

Fullscreen display mode, status bar theming, smooth page transitions, swipe navigation, and a splash screen — everything that makes the installed experience feel genuinely native rather than just a browser shortcut.

💯

Lighthouse 90+ PWA Score

Full Lighthouse PWA checklist: HTTPS, valid manifest, service worker with fetch handler, responsive design, themed address bar — all checked in CI so they don't regress between releases.

🔧

Native Device API Access

Camera via MediaDevices API, geolocation, device orientation, vibration, clipboard, and battery status — browser-available device APIs that PWAs can access without an app store or native SDK.

🗺️ Our Process

How We Deliver

01
🔍

Audit & PWA Strategy

For existing web apps, we run a Lighthouse audit and PWA readiness assessment — what's missing, what needs to change, and what a realistic offline strategy looks like for your use case. For new builds, PWA is designed in from the start.

02
⚙️

Service Worker Development

Workbox configuration with the right caching strategy per resource type. Push notification setup from backend to browser. Offline fallback pages. Background sync for any actions that need to survive connectivity loss.

03
📱

Testing on Real Devices

PWA behaviour differs significantly between Chrome on Android, Safari on iOS, and desktop browsers. We test on real devices — not just emulators — for install flow, offline behaviour, push notifications, and update propagation.

04
🚀

Deploy & Monitor

HTTPS required for PWAs — we handle certificate setup if needed. Service worker update strategy configured so users get new versions without stale cache surprises. Lighthouse CI monitoring to catch regressions.

💡 Why Choose Us

Why Businesses Choose Frequent Solutions

🔍

Audit First, Then Build

We audit your existing web app with Lighthouse and identify exactly what's missing for a proper PWA. Often 80% of what's needed already exists — we add the remaining 20% rather than rebuilding everything.

📦

Full Workbox Implementation

Workbox handles the caching strategy complexity that kills DIY service workers. We configure Workbox properly — the right plugin for each resource type, cache expiry, and update flow.

🔔

Push Notification Setup

VAPID key generation, push subscription management, notification permission UX, and backend integration with your server. We use web-push library directly — no vendor lock-in to a third-party push service.

📡

Works on Poor Networks

We test on throttled connections — 2G, 3G — not just WiFi. Caching strategies, offline fallbacks, and background sync are designed for users with real-world mobile connectivity, not ideal conditions.

🏪

No App Store Required

Users install directly from the browser. Updates deploy instantly without app store review. No 30% cut to Apple or Google on in-app purchases (for web-based purchases — native payment APIs still have platform rules).

💻

One Codebase, Web + App

The same Next.js or React codebase serves the website and the installable app. No separate iOS and Android development, no codebase divergence, no separate deployment pipeline for three platforms.

Turn Your Website Into an Installable App

Share your existing web app URL or your new project requirements. We'll audit what's needed and give you a fixed-price quote to make it installable, offline-capable, and push-enabled.

We're here to help you get the answers you need, quickly and clearly.

Native app wins for apps that need deep device integration (Bluetooth, NFC, background audio, ARKit/ARCore), complex animations at 60fps, or Apple's platform-specific features. PWA wins when you want one codebase that works on every platform, lower development cost, no app store approval process, and updates that deploy instantly. For most business apps — eCommerce, booking systems, dashboards, content apps — a PWA performs comparably to native at 30-50% of the cost.

Yes, but with limitations compared to Android. iOS Safari supports "Add to Home Screen" and most PWA features including service workers, offline support, and app-like display. What iOS still doesn't fully support: web push notifications on older iOS versions (iOS 16.4+ added web push on iOS), background sync, and some payment APIs. For most use cases, iOS PWA support is good enough. We'll tell you honestly if your requirements hit iOS's limits.

Yes on Android Chrome (and other Chromium browsers) and on iOS 16.4+ when installed to the home screen. Push notification opt-in rates for PWAs are typically higher than native apps because users choose to install rather than having the app forced on them. We implement push with the Web Push API using VAPID keys — your backend sends the notification directly to the browser's push service without a third-party intermediary.

A PWA that covers what a native app would do typically costs 30-50% less — because you're building one codebase instead of separate iOS and Android projects, and there's no Swift/Kotlin specialisation required. A basic PWA enhancement of an existing web app: ₹1–3 Lakhs. A new PWA built from scratch with push notifications, offline sync, and full installability: ₹4–10 Lakhs.

Yes, and they perform well. Flipkart, Alibaba, and Myntra's PWAs showed significant conversion improvements over their mobile websites, partly due to installability and push notifications for cart abandonment. For a WooCommerce or Shopify store, we can add PWA capabilities (offline product browsing, install prompt, push for order updates) on top of the existing store.

The minimum for a PWA badge: HTTPS, a valid Web App Manifest, and a service worker with a fetch event handler. Beyond minimum, a good PWA conversion adds a smart caching strategy, offline fallback pages, push notification support, and a well-timed install prompt. Most existing websites can be PWA-enhanced in 2–4 weeks without rebuilding the whole frontend.
