Who We Built This For
Rogsutra is a healthcare AI platform designed to bridge the gap between Indian patients and quality medical guidance. The name combines "Rog" (illness in Hindi/Sanskrit) and "Sutra" (formula/principle) — reflecting its mission to provide a reliable formula for navigating health concerns. The platform serves patients across India who need accessible, trusted health information and fast access to the right care, without the barriers of long wait times, costly consultations, or limited clinic hours.
What We Set Out to Build
Access to accurate health information and timely medical care remains unequal across India. Patients in tier-2 and tier-3 cities often wait days for specialist appointments, receive conflicting information from unverified online sources, and have no easy way to know which type of doctor they should consult for a given problem. Meanwhile, hospitals and clinics spend significant time answering repetitive patient queries that do not require a doctor's attention.
Rogsutra's AI health agent changes this dynamic. Patients interact with the chatbot in Hindi or English, describe their symptoms in natural language, and receive an immediate AI-driven triage assessment — understanding severity, likely causes, and the appropriate type of specialist to consult. The agent then helps the patient discover relevant doctors or clinics and, where integrated, completes an appointment booking directly within the conversation.
Beyond symptom assessment, the chatbot handles a wide range of health queries — medication information, dosage guidance, common condition explanations, and post-visit care reminders — drawing from a curated medical knowledge base to provide verified, evidence-based answers.
The result is a platform that extends healthcare access beyond clinic hours, reduces pressure on human agents, and empowers patients with reliable guidance when they need it most.

What Needed to Be Solved
Patients needed immediate, reliable health guidance outside clinic hours, but healthcare providers lacked the staff capacity to handle the volume of repetitive queries. At the same time, patients struggled to identify the right specialist for their symptoms, leading to wasted consultations and delayed treatment. A scalable, always-available AI layer was needed to bridge this gap.
