With a large share of customer inquiries arriving via WhatsApp โ the dominant messaging channel in the region โ the brand needed a way to handle high inquiry volume without the multi-hour response delays that were costing them sales.
What We Set Out to Build
FashionHub MENA's WhatsApp inbox had become a bottleneck rather than a sales channel โ customers messaging about product availability, sizing, or order status were waiting hours for a reply, and many simply gave up and bought elsewhere. The brand needed an AI agent that could respond instantly while still feeling like a knowledgeable sales assistant rather than a generic chatbot.
The solution connects directly to the WhatsApp Business API and the retailer's 50,000+ product catalogue, allowing the AI agent to search, filter, and recommend products conversationally. When a customer asks about a specific item, size, or style, the agent pulls live catalogue data, suggests sizing based on the brand's fit guide, and can generate a direct payment link to complete the purchase without leaving the chat.
Order tracking is handled the same way โ customers can ask "where is my order?" and get a real-time status update pulled directly from the fulfillment system, eliminating another category of inquiry that previously required human agents.
