What We Set Out to Build

Wooden Sole needed an e-commerce platform that could handle something most furniture sites avoid: real customisation at scale. Rather than selling fixed SKUs only, the platform lets customers choose wood type (Solid wood, Sheesham, Mango, Acacia, Plywood), fabric (Cotton, Printed, Velvet, Leatherette), and finish (Honey, Walnut, Natural, Distressed) across an enormous catalogue spanning bedroom, living room, dining room, study, and entrance furniture.

The platform is organised around both room type and furniture function โ€” storage beds, platform beds, poster beds, and diwan beds in the bedroom category; 1-3 seater sofas, L-shaped sectionals, loveseats, and chaise lounges in living; and 4-8 seater dining sets with matching benches and chairs.
