What We Set Out to Build
The AI Voice Calling Agent is an LLM-powered automated calling system that conducts real telephone conversations with leads and customers — indistinguishable in tone and flow from a human agent. It handles outbound sales follow-up, appointment confirmations, lead qualification, and customer satisfaction surveys at scale, 24 hours a day.
Under the hood, each call is a real-time loop: speech-to-text converts the customer's voice to text, the LLM generates a contextually appropriate response based on the call script and conversation history, and text-to-speech delivers it back in a natural voice — with sub-second latency so the conversation flows naturally.
The agent knows when to escalate. If a caller shows high buying intent or requests a human, it live-transfers to a sales rep with the full conversation transcript already on screen. For the client, the result was their sales team spending 100% of their time on warm, pre-qualified conversations instead of cold dial-outs.
